1. Eligibility

To access or use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. By accessing or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

The Service is not available to residents of jurisdictions where online prediction markets or cryptocurrency trading is prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Service complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you may need to connect a cryptocurrency wallet. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and for all activities that occur using your wallet.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when connecting your wallet and to update your information as necessary. You may not use another person's wallet without permission. DegenPredict reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content in its sole discretion.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Creating prediction markets that involve illegal activities, hate speech, violence, or harm to individuals or groups
• Manipulating prediction markets through false information, collusion, or other deceptive practices
• Attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Service
• Using any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, or other automated means to access the Service
• Bypassing measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Service

4. Prediction Markets

DegenPredict allows users to create and participate in prediction markets. When creating a prediction market, you must provide clear, verifiable criteria for resolution. Markets that cannot be objectively resolved may be canceled at DegenPredict's discretion.

Market resolution is determined by our hybrid AI-human system. For complex or contentious markets, a panel of judges from our DAO will make the final determination. All resolution decisions are final and binding.

DegenPredict charges a 1% fee on all trades. 3% of winning trades goes to the market creator, 7% goes to the DAO treasury, and 40% goes to the platform.

5. Risks and Disclaimers

Participation in prediction markets involves risk. You may lose some or all of the funds you use to trade on the platform. DegenPredict does not guarantee any returns or outcomes.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. DegenPredict makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

DegenPredict does not warrant that the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location, or that any errors or defects will be corrected.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall DegenPredict, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

7. Privacy Policy

DegenPredict respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that your information will be processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to Terms

DegenPredict reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
